Alulu Brewery and Pub is looking for a part-time prep cook with the possibility of going full time this spring. Initially working Sunday thru Tuesday 8am to 2pm and Thursday 10am to 2pm.
Join our team of craft beer, craft cocktail, and scratch cooking enthusiasts in Pilsen.
We are a small kitchen that relies heavily on each individual to handle many aspects of kitchen duties.
A well qualified candidate will have:
1) 1 year of prep or line cook experience and the basic cooking knowledge with the willingness to learn
2) Ability to multi-task and handle high pressure situations
3) Knowledge of basic food service sanitation
4) Ability to follow recipes and precise measurements
5) Knowledge of cooking stations including sauté, grill and fry
6) Basic knife skills
Your responsibilities will include
1) Preparing dressings and sauces
2) Grinding meats and preparing patties
3) Braising meats
3) Maintaining a clean and sanitary work station
4) Assumes responsibility for quality, food safety/sanitation and timeliness of products served
6) Cleaning duties
