Seeking 2 individuals for the following positions:
- Market Assistant (November - March)
We are a small family owned business that sells mexican salsas at farmers markets throughout the Chicagoland Area (Northwest neighborhoods / northwest suburbs). We started in the summer of 2024 and have quickly been growing since! As we continue to operate in more markets this winter we are looking for some help staffing our booth at scheduled events (Northwest Suburbs / Chicago).
Market Assistant (Pay $18 per hour) :
- Pick-up / Drop-off market equipment to/from storage facility.
- Booth set up / takedown
- Engage with customers / give samples
- Handle transactions
- Shifts: Saturdays 6:30 am - 3:00 pm & Sundays 6:30 am - 2:30 pm (November - March)
About you:
- Responsible - ensure all food related protocols are followed & event is set up properly
- Outgoing - comfortable interacting with customers and providing a positive customer experience
- Dependable - can work assigned shifts as scheduled with minimal disruptions (we are a small team so call last minute call offs are extremely hard to handle).
-Reliable transportation - Must be able to travel to assigned market as needed or make it to commercial kitchen as needed.
-Salsa lover - Love salsa? We do too! You can provide personal recommendations based on our current offerings / flavors.
Pay / Benefits:
- $18 per hour (paid weekly)
- Free salsa each shift!
- Earn a $350 seasonal bonus after completing all scheduled shifts during a season
