Servers/Waitstaff needed for a busy Chinese restaurant located in Wilmette, IL. Part-time or full-time help is desired.
Flexible with schedule and must have weekend availability.
Teamwork, enthusiasm, food and wine knowledge, the ability to multitask and a high energy level are necessary for success in this position. Previous (Chinese) restaurant server experience is highly recommended.
Responsibilities include:
Providing efficient, friendly guest service to a 4-8 table section
Following all steps of service and bussing the table to ensure a positive guest experience
Accurately record and account for all items ordered
Processing payments
Balancing all sales/receipts in compliance with restaurant policies and procedures.
Ensure the overall guest experience exceeds expectations and anticipate guests’ needs.
Understanding and following the food allergy procedure and special orders/restrictions.
Using POS system - i.e. Toast
Must have successfully completed Illinois BASSET Certification program. Also servers need to obtain Illinois Food Handler Certification once hired.
