Insurance Defense Paralegal needed for small law firm primarily focused on Workers Compensation Defense and Civil Defense. Duties are but not limited to preparing legal documents; including Complaints, Interrogatories, Motions and Pleadings with minimal supervision, prepare detailed analysis of medical records. Attend Illinois Workers Compensation Commission status call hearings to select hearing dates and enter objections. Perform legal research using Westlaw. Prepare exhibits for trial and assist attorneys in presentation of same. Casual work environment, flexible work schedule and benefits.
