We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team.

(direct hire, full time, permanent position with excellent benefits from day one)

2nd sift from 1:30pm

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating CNC machinery and a passion for precision manufacturing. This role involves programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality components that meet stringent specifications. The CNC Machinist will work closely with engineers and other team members to ensure efficient production processes and maintain high standards of quality.

Duties

Set up and operate CNC machines, including Fanuc-controlled equipment, to produce parts according to technical drawings and specifications.

Utilize calipers and other measuring tools to ensure accuracy in dimensions and tolerances.

Perform Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) as required for specific projects.

Collaborate with the engineering team on CAM programming to optimize machining processes.

Fabricate parts using various materials, including plastics injection molding when necessary.

Conduct routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation.

Use hand tools and tooling effectively to complete machining tasks.

Operate forklifts safely to transport materials within the facility as needed.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Experience

Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.

Familiarity with Fanuc systems and CAM programming is highly desirable.

Experience with Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) is a plus.

Proficiency in using calipers, hand tools, and various machining equipment.

Knowledge of tooling techniques and practices related to CNC machining.

Experience with plastics injection molding processes is beneficial but not mandatory.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics effectively.

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
