Opening for afternoon/night shift (shift would range between hours of 2pm-10pm)
Big Apple Finer Foods is looking for a cashier who has great customer service skills and possesses a strong work ethic. You will interact with customers answering questions and scanning their purchases. You will also accept payment, ensure accurate totals, and operate the registers.
Responsibilities:
- Scan customers' items, accept payment, and bag purchases
- Answer questions, provide recommendations, and display excellent customer service skills
- Straighten up shelves and maintain a clean work space
Requirements:
- Ability to process payment transactions accurately and responsibly
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to stand/walk/work with others in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail to ensure transaction accuracy
