Job Description:
  • Due to global supply chain issues and the resulting challenges for procuring restaurant technology hardware and components, late last year, our Global Technology Vendor Management office established the ‘Supply Chain Resiliency Team’ to address the problem by centralizing global processes and standards to accurately forecast and assure a steady supply of technology hardware to meet the demands of our global business.
  • With this effort, the team aims to centralized forecasting by producing an always-accurate 12 month forecast across all demand drivers and increase support staff by to support centralization and changes.
  • This effort will create a fundamental shift in the way people think and operate in outfitting our restaurants with technology; from building new restaurants and restaurant redesigns to break/fix solutions.
  • Operations and marketing will need awareness of technology availability /needs when designing new menus /promotions.
  • It will also impact members of the VMO organization who will need to operate differently in that they will not only be relationship managers with vendors but also managers of the overall technology supply chain.

Anticipated Change Deliverables:
  • Establish a clear governance model and decision-making framework
  • Identify all key stakeholders
  • Assess current / future impacts: Establish processes to assess impact of supply chain disruption against commitments, franchising standards, etc.
  • Engage leaders to guide the effort and clarify roles/responsibilities and determine how decisions are being made to move us forward
  • Create formal roadmap/action plan to align on what activities/actions need to happen to keep the team on track (30/60/90-day plan to better organize the team)
  • Develop and deliver a comprehensive Change/Comms Strategy -Deliver Stakeholder Management / Communication Plan
  • Support the change by creating a change management plan and delivering aligned and tailored communications up and out into the field
  • Partner with US Strategic Alignment/Global Comms Teams for messaging
  • Develop and deliver training on new Oracle tool for markets and reporting capabilities for VMO staff

The ideal candidate:
  • Will have a high level of maturity proven experience in Global Strategic Stakeholder management, establishing structure and processes for onboarding, managing and communicating with internal stakeholders and deploying new global processes and tools into 120 markets worldwide.
