Position Summary: A Systems Analyst V is an experienced IT professional who excels with implementation, enhancement, validation, and maintenance of IT applications and/or infrastructure systems. Looking for a strong candidate who has extensive experience in VMware vSphere, vSAN, and vRealize Operations Management. Principle Duties and Responsibilities: • Provide Level 4 on-call Support • Troubleshoot day-to-day issues and end user requests • Build, support, monitor VMware products and related hardware • Security Hardening/Patching • Support Warehouse automation hardware/software solutions • Collaborate with internal IT teams to deploy solutions • Automate existing environment and provide ideas for improvement/streamlining • Document build/support solutions Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent Experience will be evaluated as a combination of education, job experiences and recent growth and performance. 10+ years of experience in related fields 5-10 years experience in VMWare Knowledge: • VMware vSphere • VMware vSAN • Virtualized Networking Concepts (VDS, Firewall, NIOC etc.) • Virtualization of Linux and Windows • PowerCLi and bash • Provisioning and configuration automation Bonus Knowledge: • Master's degree and/or Retail Technology Experience • vRealize Suite (Operations Manager, Log Insight) • Familiar with Cisco and Arista network principles • Cisco ACI and Arista Cloud Vision experience • VMware VCP Certified Skills • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills • Drive to look for issues and execute towards resolution • Critical thinker and problem-solver • Oral and/or written communication skills • Ability to influence leadership • Attention to detail Abilities • Ability to manage own work time and priorities in accordance with aggressive timelines and budgets • Rapidly diagnose issues and suggest solutions • Develop and maintain high quality software products supporting the organizations standards #dicejobs Retail Business Services is an equal opportunity employer.
