Automation is just a bonus but it is not an automation role
Strong QA, Testing, UI, databases (Oracle SQL queries), backend technology, java
Jira experience will definitely help
Not looking for expert in Unix – log in, use basic commands, search for strings, basic

Top 3 skills

Database – important to work with Oracle and queries, SQL – Log into Oracle and run queries – database skill is very important

Troubleshooting – testing skills in general

Unix – basis unix skills as long as someone is able to log in and look up commands and strings – Linux would be helpful as well

Expect to have at least 4 or 5 projects under belt
