The team is building up new teams for a new cloud native green field initiative. This is an exciting opportunity to participate and lead in the implementation of a Next Gen Client facing Platform that will serve the firm for the years to come. This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
- Expertise in application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
- Advanced knowledge of architecture and design across all systems
- Proficiency in multiple modern programming languages, specifically Java
- Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
- Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
- Passionate about building an innovative culture
- Comfortable collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Able to work in a high paced environment
- Eager to work with multiple teams, stake holders and business
- Quick learner and proactive aptitude to support a professional collaborative environment
- Full-stack proficiency with Python or Java on back-end and React.js and TypeScript on front-end
- Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on engineering with above
- Strong understanding of web development best practices including security, RESTful & micro-services frameworks.
- Strong understanding of OOP & SOA principles, design patterns, industry best practices
- Experience in cloud technologies such as AWS and Cloud Foundry is a plus
- Experience in relational databases such as SQL, PostGres (a plus)
- Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement
- Good understanding of DevOps and CI/CD practices
- Experience working with Scrum/Agile methodologies
