What We'll Bring:This role is for a Software Test Engineer that will operate as a member on one of the core teams responsible for enabling new features and optimizing strategic Analytics platforms across TransUnion. Come be a part of our team - you'll work with great people, pioneering products and cutting-edge technology.What You'll Bring:- 5+ years of experience in various phases of testing, designing, and developing complex enterprise applications, including automation test development
- Mostly automation testing, however some experience with manual testing required.
- Strong background in QA and testing practices - test case design based on functional and non-functional requirements, test automation, and defect analysis
- Experience in multiple languages such as Java, JavaScript, Angular, or Python
- Experience with modern framework (Angular 2+ preferred)
- Experience with mobile testing or Docker/containerization
- Good understanding Cloud (AWS) and Microservice Design patterns being preferred.
- Strongly believe in and support team collaboration and enjoy contributing in ways to assist in team wins.
- An understanding of the many technologies used in delivering highly performant enterprise service/micro service-based architectures.
- Working knowledge of Linux including shell scripting and basic system administration-Knowledge of Ansible is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to provide alternative solutions to technical problems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- In the first 90 days: Work closely with Scrum teams to understand TransUnion products, applications and customer needs, design test scenarios and test cases for core app functionality, identify test suites for test automation help teams enhance and expand existing automation frameworks
- Beyond 90 days: Implement test automation frameworks for high availability and highly scalable applications
- Contribute to improvements in global capabilities, design test framework, develop test suites, expand automated testing harness and automate scenarios/cases, build CICD pipelines
