Illinois based fast growing commercial company seeking for Foreman role for the organization. We work in 4 states: IL, IN, WI, MI.
The Commercial Flooring Foreman is responsible for overseeing team of 3-5 installers and managing all aspects of commercial flooring projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of tile installers
- Implement project schedules and timelines
- Coordinate with other contractors on site.
- Ensure that project comply with safety regulations and industry standards
- Inspect completed work and ensure that it meets quality standards
- Identify and resolve any issues that arise during the course of a project
- Maintain accurate records of project costs and progress
- Communicate regularly with clients and management to provide updates on project status
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in commercial flooring installation (specifically tile)
- Proven ability to manage and supervise a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards
- Proficient in the use of flooring installation tools and equipment
- Knowledge in Microsoft and Google products
