- 3+ years of direct hands-on with external cloud platforms specifically with Amazon Web Services (AWS.)
- An ability to use a wide variety of Open Source and cloud toolsProficiency with developing software using API calls; software development of APIs a plus
- Experience with Python and bash scripting or Powershell
- Experience with infrastructure as code (AWS Cloudformation, Terraform)
- Hands on experience using continuous integration/delivery tools like git, Jenkins
- Experience developing automated deployment scripts and tools for system provisioning and configuration
- A working knowledge of IT infrastructure (server, network, storage, load balancing, clustering, etc
- Bachelor's degree in STEM field or equivalent experience
- Development within a hybrid cloud environment
- Experience with Azure OR GCP cloud platforms is a plus
- Experience in largescale global business environments
- Experience with Networking, DNS in a multi-account AWS environment is a plus
- You'll utilize DevOps concepts to develop, automate, and operate Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) cloud deployments
- You'll collaborate with application developers and architects, infrastructure engineers and architects, and operations staff to develop iteratively better cloud deployments to solve real business problems
- You'll architect highly available and scalable systems on cloud platforms (primarily AWS)
- You'll develop automation and processes to quickly and rapidly deploy, manage, configure, and scale cloud based systems and stacks
- You'll develop methodologies and systems to automate and support application deployments
- You'll perform research and development activities to evaluate new technologies
