Location: Chicago, IL Description: Our client is currently seeking a Sr. React.JS UI/UX Developer Client currently has a system that does over a trillion dollars a day in transactions in the US and Canada and is looking to replace that with a new system that can work on a global scale. Currently they have a hand in most transactions across the country (i.e. Netflix subscription is processed by a system like this). This is a great project to list on a resume that will have the product seen all over the world.
This job will have the following responsibilities:- Using React.js for coding UI screens
- Working as a senior engineer to help younger/newer engineers (not direct oversight, but help where you can)
- Working as a team member to build a state of the art global payments processing system
- 6+ years of using React.js to program the front end of applications
- Ability to work in large, collaborative teams
- Proficiency in multiple modern programming languages (HTML, CSS, etc.)
- Experience coding UI screens in conjunction with AEM a bonus
- Experience interfacing UI screens with CORE JAVA and Spring Boot microservices/rest endpoint
