The IAM Senior Engineer will be responsible for supporting the development and delivery of Privileged Account Management (PAM) solutions for our on-prem and cloud infrastructure. This is a multifaceted role that involves engineering, hands-on support, and advanced troubleshooting responsibilities as well support of project-based work.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of highly automated and reliable PAM solutions
  • Deliver PAM solutions which enhance security and compliance
  • Contribute to roadmaps and project plans for PAM or larger IAM efforts
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting, participate in on-call rotation, disaster recovery tests, and develop solutions and processes to eliminate off hours support calls
  • Proactively identify and automate existing manual tasks
  • Develop processes, guidelines, and documentation for consumption by internal teams
  • Assist teams in identifying, properly storing, and retrieving their credentials
  • Provide guidance and mentorship for junior staff

Minimum Requirements: Knowledge, skills, and abilities

  • 5-7 years of application support and experience with PAM platforms, tools, and solutions
  • Hands-on experience deploying and supporting a large-scale enterprise PAM solution
  • Strong familiarity with at least one of the following areas:
  • Directory services
  • Identity lifecycle management
  • Access management
  • Some development experience in one or more of the following: Perl, Unix Shell Script, PowerShell, Python, Chef
  • Familiarity with security issues surrounding IAM and experience in the implementation of security systems and controls. Must have a thorough knowledge of information security components, principles, practices, and procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to work across a broad range of technologies
  • Ability to succinctly articulate complex technical issues to both technicians and business sponsors
  • Effective time management skills demonstrated by successful and timely completion of projects
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Knowledge of applicable audit controls and applicability to IAM services architecture, design, and processes
  • Solid working knowledge of ITIL (change, problem, and incident management)
  • Ability to establish relationships and work with external vendors

  • Ability to deal diplomatically and effectively at all levels of the organization including both technical and non-technical
  • Experience in a large, international enterprise preferred. Experience in the financial market or other highly regulated industry highly preferred
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

Formal Education & Certification

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent combination of education and related work experience
  • Certification or equivalent experience in PAM enterprise platforms
  • Desired security certifications: CISSP or equivalent
