Pay: $80,000 to $100,000

Location: Decatur, IL

Position:As a Maintenance Supervisor you will be responsible for hands on maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of all plant systems, trouble-shooting equipment, and modify programs to improve performance and quality or both.Be able to reline furnaces as required.

Read, interpret and work from blueprints, layouts, hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams. Along with making sketches and rough blueprints as required.

Skillfully set up and operate a variety of machine tools used in the performance of their duties and be able to repair parts as required.

Layout, set up, and perform all acetylene or electric welding and cutting operations as required.

Install, repair, and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Perform predictive/preventative maintenance operations as required, including adding oil or grease as necessary.

Instruct trainees as required or assigned.

Skillfully use all machinists’ tools and precision measuring instruments as required and sharpen tools as needed.

Fabricate and modify machines/equipment as required.

Containment and cleanup of hazardous materials including cleaning up job site and dispose of unwanted materials and used parts.

Requisition replacement parts/material.

Prepare written predictive/preventive maintenance reports in the performance of duties.

Preparation and painting of all Plant machinery, equipment, building and grounds as required.

Perform all plumbing and boiler repairs as needed.

Adapt to new methods and procedures as required.

Assist other skilled classifications as required.

Participate in additional training as related to the work.

Perform all tasks in an efficient manner.

Operates production and non-production equipment and tools as required in the performance of the duties.

Performs all duties in a professional manner while maintaining the highest standard of productivity and quality.

Required Experience:Must have four years of verifiable trade experience in manufacturing maintenance.

Candidates must be available for 2nd shift and possible mandatory overtime.

4+ years of verifiable work experience in the maintenance field.
