Work with other copywriters and other team members to produce concise and grammatically correct copy that meets brand standards and aligns with a request's strategic purpose.

Partner with other writers to research subject matters as they relate to request and provide team with key findings to ensure deliverables are impactful, relevant, and effective in communication.

Collaborate with designers to ensure copy and design are working together to tell a story.

Develop relevant copy in support of all types of writing assignments including product, catalog, flyer, general advertising, video scripts, email content and subject lines, web copy, social media, speeches, business letters, white papers, newsletter articles, feature stories, technical reports, sales materials, and other marketing and educational materials.

Understand and organize data, research and information provided by business partners and structure it into a compelling story that engages and motivates the end user.

Create copy that is crisp, clean and to the point. Simplify complex terminology.

Contribute to the ideation process - identify and recommend new and innovative creative ideas that will deliver on campaign goals.

Participate in prooing efforts (spelling and grammar) and overall alignment of output to original request.

Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and retail research as it relates to user experience across different mediums including email, web, video and print.

Skills/Knowledge Required:

Highly creative copywriter with balance of concept development, story-telling, research, and execution process for different mediums including email, web, video, and print.

Understanding of marketing, creative and production processes/concepts and the role copy supports in each.

Strong written and oral communication skills which reflect logical thinking, and are accurate, concise, persuasive and customer-service oriented.

Understanding of user-experience and customer journey psychology as it relates to shopping behavior across multiple devices in both the B2C and B2B environment.

Fluent in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Extremely organized; multi-tasking expert with the ability to meet deadlines; calm under pressure.

Creative problem-solver that embraces “what’s possible” thinking.

Comfortable as an independent, innovative and self-starting individual capable of looking at old problems in new ways.

Strong aptitude to learn new software and complex technical concepts.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree required

Minimum 2 years of applicable experience.

Portfolio demonstrating development of copy content across different mediums including digital (email, web), video, print, blog, social, long-form, and short form.
