You will lead high-priority strategic initiatives in alignment to the business strategy and long-term goals by providing fact-based data analysis to support decision making, new initiatives and process improvement recommendations. The Director will collaborate closely across multiple functions within Baxter ensuring alignment, support and accountability. These groups include, but are not limited to; Transportation, Planning, Deployment, Analytics, Legal, Compliance, IT, Facilities, Human Resources, Engineering, Communications and Manufacturing. The Director will build strong relationships with key stakeholders, executives and employees across the company to secure organizational commitment for defined strategiesRequirements:

Creates strategic plan for supply chain based on evolving business plan and market dynamic.

Use’s analytical approach to rigorously assess the as is and define the to be strategy.

Partners with functional owners to translate strategic objectives into a project roadmap including people, process, and systems. Owner of project plans, execution and accountable for status updates and reporting to executive leadership.

Assesses project management issues and develops resolutions in order to meet objectives, which may include quality, customer satisfaction, productivity, lead-time and costs.

Leverages technology as an enabler to transform up and down the end to end supply Chain

Coordinate initiatives using existing and new models, systems and technologies

Works closely with other functions to represent the business needs of the operations function.

Creates standard program/project management items, priorities, and capacity needs related to supply chain

Builds internal processes and procedures to support supply chain strategy. Work with internal customers to ensure alignment

Leads project plans, scope, schedules, deadlines, budgets and expenditures

Defines project changes and strategies

Develop comprehensive and integrated exercises to test and update strategic plans on a regular basis. Works with other teams to ensure risks are sufficiently identified, assessed, mitigated, and reported.

Supporting all compliance and regulatory reporting requirements as necessary

Monitoring and tracking program effectiveness using reports, dashboards and scorecards on the operational status and maturity of programs

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree, Master preferred

Strong innovative and creative ability. “Out of the box” thinker

Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor

Proven leadership experience leading critical cross-functional programs.

Ability to structure, manage, and coordinate complex cross-organization projects and processes with multiple stakeholders. Ability to influence without authority.

Exceptional project management and reporting skills. Strong proficiency with project management tools (i.e., Microsoft Project, Visio, PowerPoint)

Team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible, with excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities

Ability to recognize and deal appropriately with sensitive and confidential information

Expert at summarizing, packaging, and presenting data to assist management in assessing options and decision making

Possess a demonstrated sense of urgency with the ability to perform well under significant enterprise-wide pressure

Work with limited direction, usually within a complex and often ambiguous environment, to drive rigorous, fact-based recommendations to senior management, other executive, functional, or regional management while supporting syndication with stakeholders across the organization
