The position is based in our Deerfield, Illinois headquarters and reports to the Director of International Tax.Key responsibilities will include: Quantify and model the financial impact of business operations and tax planning strategies on Baxter’s overall effective tax rate. Manage impact of U.S. tax reform, including BEAT, GILTI, FDII, and FTC profiles. Work closely with Baxter global business units and corporate functions to implement business strategies in a tax-efficient manner. Manage tax aspects of M&A and business development transactions, including due diligence, transaction and financing structure, and post-closing integration. Document and support key tax positions in support of US GAAP and IRS audits. Will assist with other areas of Tax as neededQualifications: Bachelor’s degrees in accounting or related field; Master’s in Taxation (MST), CPA or J.D. preferred. Minimum of 7-10 years of broad international corporate tax experience; Planning experience preferred. Strong interpersonal, communication, and project management skills to interact effectively with all levels within the Baxter organization and drive results.
