12 hr Nights Packer

Sonoco, a leading manufacturer of a variety of highly engineered packaging solutions and specialty components, has the following Packer position available in our DeKalb facility.Hours: 12hr Night Shift Rotate as Follows:Th, F, Sat 5:45pm-6amSunday offM, T, W 5:45pm-6amthen 7 nights off and repeatPrimary Responsibilities: Remove and inspect production parts from thermoforming machines and properly pack them according to specified instructions Maintain accurate records of parts produced, material lot numbers and quality evaluation Maintain a safe, clean work area at all times Duties include but are not limited to the aboveRequirements: High school diploma or equivalent Ability to read and understand shop orders, various production documents, and both oral and written job instructions Ability to use equipment such as scales, box staplers, tape machine, etc. Record and accurately maintain records pertaining to packing and shippingJob requires continual standing, walking, and bending.
