Solutions ArchitectDirect Hire/ Full TimeLocation: Chicago, IL The Solution Architect - Global Planning Products is responsible for working with the Product Delivery Leads - Global Planning Products, Product Implementation Lead - Europe Planning Products, the Head of Product Delivery, and all other Solution Analysts in the Supply Chain Product Delivery teams and the Enterprise Architecture team to develop, operate and maintain the Supply Chain Digital Planning Product solutions and other planning products for Europe. This will include defining the strategy and roadmap for Planning Products, including new deployments, upgrades to keep the platform current and any decommissioning required. The role will include day to day collaboration with and design discussions with Product teams. It will also require architectural supervision of a small group of solution analysts focused on the Global Planning Product platform. It will be accountable for architectural and design governance of work completed by staffs and partners.Responsibilities:- Supervise the organization's development operations function enabling rapid product development, deployments, operations and maintenance.
- Develop and implement plans, policies, and procedures related to automated software deployment processes.
- Collaborate with market implementation team for effective solution implementation and with Service Delivery teams to ensure operational SLOs are met.
- Establish measures to determine if organizational objectives, such as commercial, software quality, customer responsiveness, application performance, and deployment release schedules, are being met.
- Collaborate with Enterprise architecture, infrastructure and service lines (business), Product owners (Tech + BU) in developing application roadmaps, architecture roadmap for transformation/evolutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field
- 7+ years of experience in Software architecture, development and support and 1+ years in agile delivery
- Must have experience working in the cloud, Azure is the preference but AWS or Google Cloud Platform works too
- Proven knowledge and practical experience of agile software development methodologies, values, principles, and practices.
- Experience in working with a virtual organization
- Experience in Supply Chain and Logistics domain
