Job Description
Sr. Business Analyst Roles and Responsibilities:- Understand structure and business meaning of data with various systems (Data Warehouse, ERP Platforms, web site). Develop and drive roadmap for ongoing expansion of same.
- Lead the collaboration on design and development of analytic tools. Tools include reports, dashboards, models and ad-hoc queries.
- Hands on experience with (PowerBI, Cognos, Azure DevOps, SAP and Excel, Synapse, Data Factory, Power Automate, Alteryx, Salesforce.
- Lead PowerBI development with working knowledge of DAX equations and Power Query M formula language to create Dashboards.
- Strong understanding of Data Modeling.
- Gather and document business requirements for datasets, reports, models.
- Create user training materials, teach training classes.
- Data collection, testing and validation.
- Provide tactical analytical support for business demands.
- 5+ years of hands on experience taking B.I. projects from start to finish.
- Strong quantitative and logical thinking skills.
- Strong working knowledge with SQL, Excel. Python.
- Deep knowledge of integration of technologies and architecture. Create and operate integration practices to ingest, transform and provision data
- Experience with Azure environment working with (Data Factory, Data Lakes, Databricks)
- Able to quickly learn and understand new software products and concepts.
- Excellent organizational skills to organize tasks, manage multiple projects, create and maintain documentation.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with multiple departments and levels of management
