GBC Metals, LLC, doing business as Olin Brass, utilizes more than 60 different copper-based alloys to produce specialized sheet and strip products for a variety of end uses. Primary markets for our high-performance products include automotive, microelectronic, and communication interconnects, as well as a long history in the supply of standard alloys in the manufacture of ammunition, coinage, and builders’ hardware. We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Plant Controller at our East Alton, Illinois, facility.Role PurposeProvide financial guidance and oversight to the entire business unit organization to improve overall financial performance and increase shareholder value. More specific, conduct oneself as a financial business partner, who is responsible for the business unit accounting activities in compliance with GAAP, analytical reporting needs, quality and timely communication of financial and operational accounting issues, KPI tracking and reporting, and proactive cross-functional support to assist the organization toward the achievement of company goals and objectives.Core Accountabilities

Drive financial closing process, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines
Preparation of monthly financial statements and forecasts
Development of annual operating budget
Review balance sheets to ensure compliance with GAAP and year end audit standards
Develop and maintain weekly KPI’s to ensure achievement of committed performance goals
Manage quarterly physical inventory process ensuring controls are maintained
Review and provide financial justification for all Capital Appropriation Requests
Maintain and update costing system to provide an accurate view of product profitability
Actively manage direct reports to improve on performance, technical knowledge, business understanding, and working cross-functionally with other departments
Competencies and Qualifications
BS in Accounting/Finance/ Business Management required MBA preferred
15+ years’ experience within manufacturing industry, preferred metals experience
5+ years as a Controller in a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of manufacturing ERP systems, SAP preferred
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and Sarbanes Oxley
Advanced skills in Microsoft and financial analysis tools
