Job Summary A Production Planner manages analytical and transactional work to support the Production Planning and Scheduling elements of WWT's Global Order Operations function. Reporting to leader within Production Planning & Scheduling, an individual in this role manages the production plan and development of schedules to meet the overall demand of the Integration Centers, which includes creative solutioning to mitigate risks or resolve issues related to capacity and customer timelines. This individual works cross functionally and applies a continuous improvement mindset to make recommendations on process and/or system enhancements. Responsibilities

  • Promote the World Wide Technology Core Values and Corporate Goals
  • Maintains production plan from planning through scheduling/release to execution (assigned by time horizon, work cell and/or level of complexity)
  • Performs detailed analysis on the demand picture against material availability, identifies gaps and collaborates with cross-functional teams to provide solutions
  • Analyzes capacity plan, maintains changes to the plan and proactively seeks solutions to potential capacity challenges that will resolve schedule issues
  • Facilitates dynamic solutioning, as needed, and performs data analysis that influences improvements to the tools, process, and systems.
  • Leads daily/weekly, cross-functional meetings, to ensure clarity and alignment across teams, hold teams accountable to key actions required for effective planning and scheduling

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or 2-4 years equivalent industry experience in Production Planning / Scheduling
  • 1+ years' experience or technical training in Production Planning and/or Scheduling in the supply chain or manufacturing industry
  • Familiarity with supply chain management disciplines and capacity planning is preferred
  • Experience in ERP System along with a high proficiency in MS Office Software
  • Experience in a fast-paced production environment with various constraints
  • Experience in production planning, manufacturing, or supply chain, preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and data analysis

Working Conditions This position is required to work in a fast-paced environment production environment with a focus on doing whatever it takes to get the job done and delivering customer delight. The nature of the role requires an ability to deliver results on time through successful navigation of shifting customer requirements and competing organizational demands. Standard business hours are generally observed, with work from home schedules and flexibility on start/end times. This role offers flexibility between a work from home and an open-office environment with desk sharing/hoteling practices. Fully remote is possible if approved by management, with the requirement of coming on site for various activities. Travel would be between our Maryland Heights, MO and Edwardsville, IL locations.
