Why should you join the Integration Technology Center team? WWT's Integration Technology Center teams work in a climate-controlled production environment with advanced networking, secure remote access, and certified procedures specifically designed for staging, kitting and configuring the latest advanced technology solutions. The team consists of certified engineers with logistical and technical expertise to help reduce the risk, cost and complexity of IT deployments. Responsibilities: The Systems Engineer will utilize critical thinking and problem solving to develop and support internally developed tools. Deliver & support a stable platform that the build technicians can use to analyze, configure, and deploy hardware devices within the customer requirements.

  • Write and maintain custom scripts to automate tasks including configuration and hardware verification in order to increase efficiency and remove human error.
  • Participate in the design of automation, information and operational support systems.
  • Maintain internal infrastructure, network, and automation environment.
  • Provide support and insight related to automation related projects to internal/external customers.
  • Interface with cross-functional teams in order to determine integration requirements and expectations.
  • Participate in customer and internal technical calls and meetings.
Qualifications/Minimum Skills Required
  • Minimum of 3-5 Years of experience required in the following areas
  • Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting servers, switches, routers, firewalls, and other datacenter appliances.
  • Solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Routing).
  • Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting UNIX/Linux/Windows Server/ESXi environments.
  • Experience with infrastructure and network monitoring/management systems.
  • Experience working with large scale IT projects related to deployment and configuration.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work individually without much direction while also working as part of a team towards a common goal.
  • Ability to multitask while retaining strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate with customers at all levels.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience required in the following areas:
  • Demonstrated scripting skillsin PowerShell, Python or Bash. Scripting background/experience should be aimed at automating common CLI driven tasks.
  • Ability to master new technologies.
  • Ability to conceptualize capabilities and document the technical plan.
  • Ability to train other team members and hand off tasks when necessary.
Other required skills:
  • Be motivated, disciplined and able to produce quality results under pressure.
  • Reliable and can be depended upon to show up, complete tasks and is required to give plenty of notice when scheduling time off.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Have the ability to articulate ideas succinctly.
