We are hiring for CNC Machine Operators for my growing client in Elgin, IL & Bloomingdale, IL.

SHIFTS OPEN: 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th

Basic Function: Sets up and operates a Milling, EDM and/or creep feed grinding machine to grind flat or contoured surfaces to customer specifications.

Responsibilities:· Measure parts, using the following tools; Dial indicators, micrometers, calipers and plug gauges.· Keen and consistent quality assurance review of work on a consistent basis.· Must be willing to review processes and make suggestions for process improvements.· Complete fixture tear-downs and machine set-ups as needed for a specified job.· Identify the need for and complete wheel changes when needed.· Inform management of any maintenance issues or problems related to a job.· Make recommendations for improvements to the production supervisors to ensure continuous improvement of quality and company performance.· Keep work area clean, organized and free from clutter. The machine must be wiped down each shift. 5s experience preferred.· Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Experience needed:

CNC: 1 year (Required)
Must know how to read indicators and use tools as mentioned.
5-axis and/or 3-axis, and surface grinding experience preferred.
Must know how to measure parts within tight tolerances.
Strong math skills. Must complete math test as part of hiring process.
Ability to read, write and speak English.
High school diploma or equivalent.
1 year Manufacturing experience.
1+ years of experience EDM or wire/electrode EDM, preferred.

Essential Physical Requirements:· Ability to lift 50 lbs.· Ability to load parts into a machine at or above waist height.· Must be able to read and write English.
