Maintenance & Inventory Planner

Job Description

The Production & Inventory Plannerwill support one or two operational functions and assist with the scheduling of tasks to ensure plant production schedules are completed on-time.

• Intake and file maintenance Work Orders
• Purchase MRO supplies
• Maintain file of Work Orders for record keeping and safety compliance
• Monitors material inventories and maintains organization of inventory
• Maintains accurate electronic inventory records and transactions
• Assign and schedule maintenance PMs through CMMS system (MVP Plant)
• Maintain LOTO records for mechanical assets and systems
• Create production route pack for all newly scheduled jobs to ensure required tooling is available
• Assist with filing invoices and managing shipping, service and vendors records
• Identifies process improvements in assigned work areas
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; BS/BA degree in manufacturing or another related field preferred
• 3+ years’ experience in a scheduling/production support role strongly preferred
• Experience with computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) required
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong communication skills
• Continuous improvement mindset
