We are looking for people who want a career - not just a job!The IT Technical Trainer is responsible for developing, conducting, and delivering IT systems training to all levels of employees within the organization to support the awareness, rollout and training of new systems and/or functionality associated with the Microsoft Office 365 suite of programs. The IT Technical Trainer is responsible for promoting adoption and productivity using training and support materials, as needed. Facilitating ongoing adoption assessments will also be a primary responsibility of this position. This is not an IT role, though IT experience is a plus.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Promote and educate partners on the holistic value of new software (MS Office 365) suite solutions to meet the business needs of the company.Collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities to integrate MS Office 365 solutions into everyday use to improve productivity across team(s) and corporate wide.Deliver training that is tailored to business units/functional groups and that relates directly to their day-to-day job functions.Actively work with First American Bank (FAB) business units to promote end-user engagement and system adoption.Participate in testing and implementation phases of IT projects as needed.Develop, conduct, and deliver effective/relevant Microsoft Office 365 and IT systems application training programs to all levels of employees. Assist IT team with end-user training issues as needed.Create training materials including, but not limited to, training/reference guides, job aids, how-to videos and eLearning courses. Post training content to Microsoft SharePoint and/or to the online learning center (LMS/eLearning Portal) and ensure content is kept up to date.Evaluate outcomes of training sessions and utilize analytics to understand key drivers of user adoption success.Work closely with IT to stay current with updates to O365 products as well as potential improvements available to business units/end users.Work with the Training Manager and team to continually assess and refine new employee training.QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree preferred.Minimum of 2 years as an O365 technical trainer with experience in content creation, curriculum design and delivery of in- person and online training.Proven ability to quickly learn new applications and technologies and apply that knowledge to the training of others.Demonstrated understanding of adult learning principles and the ability to adjust instructional methods to best meet the needs of trainees.Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects at the same time.Proven ability to work well independently and as a part of a team to meet goals and deadlines.High-level project management skills beneficial.Experience in a financial services industry preferred.Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills.Proven ability to work with a technical team to translate business requirements into training solutions.Ability to distill large amounts of information into concise, relevant training materials.Communicate effectively with business unit colleagues, end users, and technology team members in support new IT system rollouts, including planning, launch, training, and implementation support.Exceptional presentation skills with ability to speak clearly and effectively to small/large audiences.Ability to teach and use techniques to a diverse/cross generational population.Must have an understanding/exposure to various computer applications, including but not limited to: Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, SharePoint and Teams.Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications/products including OneDrive, and Power BI a plus.Travel to meetings, training and seminars as scheduled.May also require up to 25% travel between Elk Grove and various FAB locations.Typical schedule is 8:00 am to 5:00pm pm, Monday through Friday.
