With extraordinary service and integrity, we strive to provide artists, educators, students, and our employees with the tools, assistance, and training they need to grow, innovate, and reach their creative potential.Overall Purpose and Main Objectives:The Distribution Supervisor will be expected to work 2nd shift, 2:30pm to 11:00pm Monday through Friday. The Distribution Supervisor maintains work flow in all areas of the warehouse while supervising 20-30 warehouse associates. The ideal candidate will be able to create and maintain a safe work environment that supports continuous improvement. The primary functions to be supervised are picking and packing. Responsibilities:

Ensure products are received, picked, packed, and shipped as accurately/timely as possible.

Support and develop skills of associates.

Put customer satisfaction as a priority.

Use effective communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to promote positive group operations and relationships

Assist associates with cross training for various jobs.

Ensure new hires are properly trained.

Cross-train associates for various functions within the warehouse.

Ensure needed supplies, tools, and equipment are available to associates

Maintain and support the confidentiality of employee and company records.

Maintain a clean, safe, work area.

Instill pride, respect, and teamwork among associates.

Maintain and support Blick Art Materials policies and procedures.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or equivalency required.

Associates Degree along with 3-5 years supervisory experience preferred.

Qualification Requirements:

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with others.

Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Required personal computer skills, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.

Ability to work effectively with team members.

Effective leadership and decision making skills.

Intermediate math skills.
