Job Description

The incumbent will be responsible for developing and implementing targeted strategies to support building a long-term, sustainable talent pipeline with a specific focus on early career talent attraction & development and enterprise diversity & inclusion.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead & support the delivery, implementation, and continuous improvement of the ITW Enterprise Internship Program to ensure it is a meaningful contributor to building a deep and diverse talent pipeline on a long-term, sustainable basis.
  • Plan, manage, and execute enterprise early-in-career talent acquisition events, focusing on “80” partnerships (Society of Women Engineers, National Society of Black Engineers, etc.). Maintain and foster relationships with partners to enhance brand awareness and support the delivery of enterprise hiring goals.
  • Leverage data & analytics to inform decisions and evaluate the effectiveness of existing early-in-career talent acquisition and leadership development strategies.
  • Provide key support to the execution of ITW’s D&I strategy, including supporting the growth & impact of Employee Resource Groups (ERG’s) and creation of tools and resources to build inclusive workplaces across the global businesses.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in HR, Talent Management or closely related experience focused on the management, development, and retention of talent. Possesses knowledge & insights to be a credible voice on early-in-career talent topics.
  • Highly proficient project management skills, from concept, to planning, to implementation, to results measurement. Proven ability to analyze existing processes and drive continuous improvements.
  • Strong interpersonal skills that support interactions and relationship-building with candidates and internal partners. Leads through influence.
  • Ability to travel up to 10-15% of time, heaviest during fall recruiting cycle.
