Project Manager - Gurnee, IL - 4 Month Contract - $70-75/hr W2

Will lead two key projects:1) help us lead a CRM integration & rollout project 2) lead the implementation and rollout of an RCM solutionPosition Description: A Project Manager leads and manages IT project resources, including staff and third-party resources, to realize project goals. Responsible for delivering IT projects within established scope, budget and timeframe. Communicates project progress and challenges to all participants. The Project Manager establishes a project framework in terms of timeline, participants, roles, milestones and interim and final deliverables. The Project Manager reports to the CTO,Responsibilities:• Collaborates with leadership and other key roles in establishing project prioritization and timeframes. • Collaborates with key leadership and project stakeholders to ensure clarity on the project’s goals, deliverables; resource accountability, scope and schedule.• Manages project risks, working with team to establish necessary contingency plans, Manages project changes. • Leads the development, monitoring and reporting of project schedules.• Leads project status meetings and create meeting minutes (Attendees, Summary, Action Items/Owners, Next Meeting, etc.) and follows up to make sure everything gets done as committed.• Works within established project management processes and procedures to manage the project lifecycle: establishing and tracking project milestones, identifying and resolving project issues, assessing and managing project risk. Offers suggestions and guidance for potential improvements in efficiency and quality delivery.• Prepares and presents reports containing metrics designed to assess and communicate project performance and efficiency. • Clarifies project roles and responsibilities and assigns project deliverables according to project plan.• Manages project resources (internal IT, Non-IT and third-party resources) as it relates to schedule and project deliverables. Assesses and communicates any impact to project. Helps identify and manage project critical path. • Participates in assessment of third party project resources.• Manages project change. Prepares and communicates project change requests, working with team members to assess risk and impact. Establishes new project deliverables and timeline based on approved changes to scope.• Maintains project schedules in Microsoft Project or Excel.• Documents business requirements as needed.• Other duties as assigned.Competencies: • Project Management: Develops project plans; Leads projects, and coordinates projects activities; Assesses risk and issues and their impact, escalating as necessary. Experience working with custom software for external facing customer and managing software release deployments. • Excellent communication, collaboration, team building, and relationship management skills required.• Must be able to collaborate with other IT disciplines and business stakeholders for the creation and evaluation of business cases, success criteria, requirements, schedules, quality assurance, training and communication plans. • Demonstrates excellent skills with Microsoft Office, especially Project, Word and Excel. • Demonstrates a deep understanding of metrics associated with project performance.• Must be familiar with the Waterfall and Agile development methodology.• PMP and ScrumMaster Certification is a plus. • Working knowledge of Jira or similar project management software.
