- 5 years prior experience in equivalent BSA Compliance position or as a bank regulator.
- BSA Professional certification.
- Proficiency with multiple computer applications, specifically word processing, spreadsheet and database management software.
- Demonstrated supervisory and leadership skills.
- Ability to effectively facilitate and manage change.
- Excellent organizational skills, project management and analytical skills.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, banking regulations, technical procedures and financial and other data; as well as the ability to effectively train and instruct others.

- Demonstrated ability to balance competing priorities and work at a pace that ensures established deadlines are met.
- Enhance, develop, implement and administer the BSA/AML/OFAC/USA PATRIOT Act monitoring systems to ensure that appropriate parameters and controls are in place to identify suspicious and/or fraudulent activity.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Establish and maintain an effective CDD/EDD risk rating and monitoring program to include initial and ongoing assessments, as well as review and analysis of unusual/suspicious activity.
- Conduct BSA/AML/OFAC risk assessments annually, or as needed, with consideration to products, services, clients and geographies that may present risks.
- Review and update, if warranted, the BSA/AML /OFAC policy annually, or as needed, to ensure the policy remains compliant with regulation and developed to a sophistication level commensurate with the Bank’s risk profile.
- Oversee the Compliance and Risk Specialist-BSA, be fully knowledgeable and skilled in all areas of BSA/AML/OFAC Compliance and be able to independently recognize, research, develop and implement cost effective compliance related solutions for the BSA/AML/OFAC program.
- Coordinate and oversee an effective Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering/OFAC Compliance program that conforms to current industry best practices, regulatory guidance and requirements.
- Assist with development and administration of BSA/AML/OFAC related training programs to Directors, Management and Employees and provide BSA guidance and coaching to all employees.
