Job Req #: 21-02883Job Description: Solutions Architect I Job Type: 3-6 month Contract to Hire Location: Starting Remote, but hoping to return onsite in Hoffman Estates, IL by mid/late 2021 One of our enterprise clients on the cutting edge of the automotive industry is seeking a Salesforce Solutions Architect I to join their team based out of Illinois! This position is only open to local candidates at this time with expectations to return onsite in Hoffman Estates, IL This individual will serve as a hands-on Solutions Architect who is cable of spending a significant amount of time coding and mentoring fellow teammates. They will be working in team environment with other developers and includes some lighting, REST API, Trigger/Classes, and some configuration work within the tool. Several future projects will also include a couple of SF Org collapses and migration of legacy case system to Service Cloud. The client has been using Salesforce for over ten years and are going through major ERP transformation that is resulting in a number of changes. The person may be expected to return onsite to Hoffman Estates, IL 4 days a week once COVID is better addressed. - 5-8 years Experience architecting Salesforce solutions specifically Apex, API, Design, CSS, and Force.Com
- Experience developing custom applications within Salesforce.com (SFDC) using Apex and Lightning
- Experience in creating Salesforce unit test creation for test coverage before deployments
- Has lead the analysis of new/existing infrastructure architectures, help with long term direction, and ensures engineering platforms meet reliability expectations throughout the process.
- Experience with the Configuration/Administration of Salesforce.com
- Experience in migrating Salesforce configuration changes from Sandbox to Production environments
- Experience developing with CSS and JavaScript in a Salesforce environment
- Integration experience with other Salesforce applications (AppExchange) and external systems
- Skill in the use of Salesforce APIs (SOAP and REST web services) to integrate with external systems
- Solid understanding of best practices, development processes, and methodologies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple business leaders to complete projects quickly
- General knowledge of Agile Development (Scrum experience a plus)
- Knowledge and experience with Release Management in Salesforce (SFDX is a plus)
- Creative application design skills
- Ability to leverage the Force.com platform
- Desire to learn new technologies and keep skills current
- Ability to function as a team lead or scrum master
- Knowledge of governor limits and Salesforce order of Execution
