The Pilot Plant Scientist Group Leader will be responsible for performing multiple tasks within the Process Development group in support of biologics manufacturing process. The Scientist will perform a variety of responsibilities in both a team and individual setting. This position is an on-site position.Position Responsibilities: Developing and/or improving pharmaceutical (biologics) manufacturing processes Planning experiments, routine analytical measurements operating filtration systems, analyzing data, and writing reportsProtein purification process development and improvementPerform routine maintenance and calibration on critical instrumentationBuffer preparationOperate automated processes including process monitoringLeadership Responsibilities:  Monitors and coaches through the day-to-day operations of direct reports Coordinate’s scheduling of work/trainingPerforms administrative tasks related to team member growth and developmentMay be responsible for maintaining multiple projectsParticipates in overtime, weekend, and holiday testing when needed
