We Are HiringAdmitting Nurse, RN Full-time, Mon-Fri 11a-7:30p Will require flexibility with schedule AMITA Health St. Mary's Hospital is an acute care facility with a Level II Emergency/Trauma Center serving Kankakee and surrounding counties. We provide compassionate care, state-of-the-art technology and award winning patient safety to the community. AMITA Health St. Mary’s Hospital is a Certified Primary Stroke Center. New robotics program, orthopedic joint commission accreditation, orthopedic robotics, and orthopedic spine program. What You Will DoProvide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.Implement and monitor patient care plans.

Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.

Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.

Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.

Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

What You Will NeedLicensure / Certification / Registration:BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.

Additional Preferences2 years Inpatient nursing
