Job Description
We have an exciting, essential role for Team Leader to perform EM activities as well as supervise a team of EM Analysts improving and saving lives. The EM Analysts will be working on multiple shifts on a client site in the Kankakee, IL area. This Leader will have the opportunity to demonstrate their flexibility, tenacity, problem solving ability, and positive team-player attitude on a daily basis. The team will consist of recent grads as well as employees more experienced in EM and microbiology techniques. The TL will train, develop and mentor team members to ensure we are not only meeting client business needs, but exceeding service expectations. This team will execute environmental monitoring sampling of grade A and B monitored areas, static surveys, perform personnel monitoring sampling (e.g. support of gown certification testing), and perform routine equipment cleaning verification.
Qualifications
The Ideal Candidate would possess:· At least 3 years microbiology experience
· At least 1 year of leadership experience
· Experience implementing new innovations
Minimum Qualifications:· BS degree in biological or related sciences
· Leadership experience
· Experience working in a GMP environment
· Aseptic experience
· Microbiology or direct sterile lab/manufacturing experience
· Experience using a LIMS system
· Superior time management
· Effective oral and written communications
· Strong problem-solving skills
Additional Information
Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Candidates currently living in a commutable distance to Kankakee, IL are encouraged to apply.
