We Are HiringSurgical Scrub Technologist - Full Time Hours/Shift: 10 hour shifts plus rotating call on weeknights, weekends and holidays Location: La Grange with potential to rotate to Hinsdale location At AMITA Health Adventist Medical Center La Grange, we focus on providing expert, compassionate, faith-based care in the respective Catholic and Adventist traditions for patients. Our state-of-the-art, 196-licensed-bed facility offers the latest in emergency medical and surgical care (including da Vinci™ Robotic Assisted Surgery), medical lab and imaging services heart and vascular care, cancer care, orthopedic and neurological care, women’s services, access to top specialists and much more. What You Will DoFacilitate the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures.Responsibilities:Prepare surgical operating suite with sterile and non-sterile instruments and supplies.

Hand required and requested instruments and supplies to surgeon during surgery.

Assist with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients.

Maintain instruments in an organized manner and monitor and track instruments counts throughout procedures.

Assist surgeons’ provision of hemostasis during surgery.

What You Will NeedLicensure / Certification / Registration:BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred

Education:High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.

Additional PreferencesCertified Surgical Technologist (CST) strongly preferred

Previous expereience working in a surgical center environment preferred
