Job DescriptionKelly Services has multiple openings for Medical assembly located in Lake Zurich, IL These positions are temporary-to-hire with overtime.Pay: $15.00/HR - $18.00/hr1st Shift is Monday-Friday 6:00 am-2:00 pmJob Description:POSITION SUMMARYThe assembler position performs direct manufacturing activities in the production department in support of the department objectives to provide goods and services that meet customer-s requirements for quality, quantity and timeliness.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

General

o Responsible to follow Quality system, including all applicable SOP's included in the Training Matrixo Maintain good working relationships with other co-workers, act as example when conflicts occuro Work with little supervision and complete assignments accurately and in a timely mannero Maintain confidential information, in accordance with Company policyo Adherence to safety requirements

Assembly Responsibilities

o Follow released documents to produce product, notify supervisor if conflict is observedo Produce components, sub assemblies or final assemblies with minimal supervisiono Follow in-line checks to verify work performed, utilize hand tools as required, such as calipers and rulerso Perform in-line product testing on sub assembly and finished productso Awareness of quality requirements; identify defects and communicate defects to supervisor and/or engineer for the product through use of the reject log or direct communicationo Operate variety of simple and complex equipment such as adhesive dispenser, UV cure, vertical shrinker, braider, tipping machines and molding equipmento Keep track of materials, tools and procedures as the device is manufactured

Documentation and Line Clearance

o Prepare station and perform line clearance, including all items identified in the line clearance procedure; ensure daily line clearance is completed for each operation performedo Confirm training is current before starting work and that procedure is understood, notify supervisor if conflict occurso Perform daily, weekly and monthly CER cleaning for individual stationso Completely and accurately fill in LHRs or forms in support of manufacturing

Provide job training support to coworkers, as directed

Inform lead or supervisor of issues or unanticipated non-conformance (e.g. calibration out of date, expired material, high scrap rate); stop line as necessary

Advise supervisor in the event of needed tool or equipment repairs

Assists in other work-related areas as required
