If this position may be interested to you, please email me back at (with your most up to date resume in word format) and advise the best time and number at which you can be reached Job Title: Sr. SAP Security GRC Analyst Location: REMOTE or Onsite at Lake Zurich, IL Type: ONLY on W2 contract Length: 6 months Pay Rate - $55 - $75 per hour (Flexible) POSITION SUMMARY This role supports the Manager of Internal Controls in the Controlling department. He/she will work closely with business process owners in operations and IT in FK NA to plan and coordinate internal control, access security and segregation of duties reviews and related remediation efforts. This role will assist each area with the identification, documentation, education and remediation of control and security and access risks. The role will work closely w/Netcare IT in support of the SAP GRC implementation. PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES PERFORMED BY THE INCUMBENT. List 8-10 principal activities (i.e. "Responsible for", "Develops", "Participates in", etc.) The role is responsible for supporting the successful implementation of the SAP GRC tool as follows:

  • ensuring appropriate and compliant SAP access controls,
  • designing, building, modifying, testing and deploying SAP security roles,
  • interfacing with business and technical teams to communicate changes to user access and security roles
  • working with business counterparts to define and translate business access requirements into SAP security authorizations
  • supporting proper integration of security and GRC tool deliverables
  • updating segregation of duties and sensitive access rule sets
  • reviewing and assessing impact of proposed application configuration changes
  • troubleshooting and resolving GRC application issues
  • address custom T-code development with IT and assess handling in GRC tool
  • monitor access risks, perform user access reviews
  • monitor for cross application segregation of duties access
  • apply leading practice principles and seeking and sharing best practice
REQUIREMENTS and SKILLS
  • 5 - 8 years of SAP GRC, Security Access and Internal Controls experience
  • BS in Technical, Information Systems or related field
  • Knowledge of SAP business process functionality
  • Knowledge of SAP GRC Access Control functionality and configuration
  • Understands SAP security principles and compliance requirements
  • Ability to administer GRC rule set changes
  • Familiar with SAP transport management process
  • Prior systems audit, assurance, and/or ERP experience
  • Knowledge of SAP access control processes and use of GRC tools to enable those processes
  • Able to identify, monitor and remediate user access risks via segregation of duties analysis
  • Working knowledge of SAP and related FI module a plus
  • Knowledge of Life Sciences industry and customer landscape a plus
  • Must be able to interact effectively with all levels within organization as well as with outside auditors
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to work efficiently and effectively in a changing environment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft packages, including PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Positive, flexible and goal focused
