Title: Data Services Specialist
Mandatory skills:systems administration tool,virtualized environments, VMWare,Perl, Python, C, PHP, shell scripts,security technology, SELinux, security,Storage Area Networking, associated storage arrays,building custom packages, RHEL, CentOS, RPM,Linux operating systems, Unix operating systems,Lustre file systems Description: · Comprehensive ability to work effectively as a member of a team.· Flexibility in dealing with assignments and working on several projects simultaneously.· Comprehensive knowledge of systems administration tools and languages such as Perl, Python, C, PHP, and shell scripts.· Expertise in installation, management and use of software such as compilers, scientific applications, and job resource managers.· Experience implementing systems-level security technologies like SELinux and following security best-practices.· Knowledge of Storage Area Networking and associated storage arrays.· Experience building custom packages for RHEL/CentOS using RPM.· Experience implementing, troubleshooting, and supporting Linux/Unix operating systems.Preferred Skill:· Comprehensive knowledge and expertise in installing, configuring, tuning, and supporting Lustre file systems.· Experience with Puppet, Chef, Ansible or equivalent configuration management tool.· Ability to be on site as needed.· Familiarity with tools like GitHub and GitLab.· Experience with datacenter infrastructure management (UNIX/Docker/ Kubernetes/ Microservices)· Experience using tools such as Grafana and Nagios to monitor systems, metrics, and create dashboards.· Experience deploying and maintaining virtualized environments using VMWare.· Comprehensive problem-solving skills VIVA USA is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to maintaining a professional working environment that is free from discrimination and unlawful harassment.
