Lead day-to-day development, implementation, and monitoring of enterprise risk management across CDW and contribute to the strategy of ERM with oversight and direction from the vice president of Enterprise Risk Management.

What you will do:

Provide leadership, innovation, governance, and management necessary to identify, evaluate, mitigate, and monitor the company's enterprise risks.
  • Develop and maintain an enterprise risk-management knowledge base/playbook including risk framework and definitions, ERM processes and procedures, risk-management best practices, and ERM reference materials, tools, and techniques.
  • Contribute to the continuous evolution of the ERM program, including driving consistency in measurement and methodology across risk-management tools, and build-out reporting with key stakeholders.
  • Champion risk culture by establishing and cultivating risk partnerships with the first line of defense and educating/training broader first and second-line teams, while infusing risk-management culture into the organization.
  • Partner with regional risk, business, and functional teams to identify emerging and business-as-usual risks, conduct deep dives, propose best-practice mitigating factors, and monitor ongoing threats as well as the effectiveness of mitigating factors.
  • Define risk metrics and KRIs that align with the CDW risk appetite.
  • Consistently monitor the external environment and marketplace for events that can have an impact on risk profile.

What we expect of you:
  • Bring your passion about enterprise risk management and background in finance to CDW.
  • At least 10 years of experience in management, strategic initiatives, and consulting, preferably in a technology-related industry.
  • Graduate/advanced degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Familiarity with common ERM frameworks, such as COSO Enterprise Risk Management Integrated Framework and ISO 31000.
  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional projects.
  • Proven capacity to be a change agent with the ability to effectively and respectfully influence the actions and opinions of others at all levels of an organization, including executive management.
  • Management consulting or Big Four experience and strong knowledge of internal controls and audit preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and constructively with management, peers, and coworkers.
