- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 12+ years of experience with US GAAP accounting, SEC reporting, and managing a team or 8+ years of public accounting experience with a concentration on SEC registrants
- Experience with complex technical accounting topics and FASB/SEC regulations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of the organization
- Strong Excel skills
- Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements
- CPA Preferred (active or inactive)
- Working knowledge of ERP systems and Workiva (a plus)
- Lead research and analysis on various technical accounting topics (acquisition due diligence & purchase price allocations, multi-element revenue recognition offerings, debt refinancing, cash flow statement preparation, valuation of equity investments, earnings per share, etc.).
- Monitor and interpret emerging FASB and SEC pronouncements as well as provide implementation guidance for the company.
- Participate in multi-functional projects (new system implementations, employee development programs, newly acquired business integrations, etc.).
- Manage and maintain our global accounting policies.
- Manage and develop direct reports as well as others (indirectly via cross-functional projects).
