ResponsibilitiesDevelop gas detection method based on the colorimetric paper tape sensors to extend the gas coverage and lower the gas concentration detection level.Evaluate colorimetric paper tape media, optics and gas introduction system. Do horizon study for new sensing technologies and applications for gas detection for semiconductor industry.Cooperate with Innovation team and Marketing to create and update the technology roadmap.Accelerate ideation and concept generation to develop breakthrough technologies.Validate the ideas and concepts for applicability and feasibility to minimize technical risks of NPI projects.Basic QualificationsMaster of Science or Engineering degree Experience on gas detection and/or instrumentation. Preferred Additional QualificationsMachine learning experience is preferable. Experience with Colorimeter, UV/VIS/IR, and FTIR techniquesExperience with
Programming Languages including Matlab, Python, TensorFlow, Keras,
PyTorch, Java, C, C, etc.Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsHave a fundamental understanding of product development, manufacturing, simulation methods and techniques, FMEA, and other engineering principles Honeywell is an equal opportunity employer.
