Who You Are

A Mortgage Loan Originator helps clients with obtaining a loan to buy a property. They collaborate with buyers to finance their purchase within their budget. You'll need knowledge in finance, as you'll be helping clients navigate the financial waters of their real estate purchase. You'll also serve as your client's guide through the stress that follows money problems and large purchases.

This position requires excellent financial literacy and interpersonal skills. Mortgage Loan Originators are self-motivated, resourceful, and driven. In addition, research skills are a must.

In this role, you will

  • Maintain an ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment with a strong sense of urgency and responsiveness.
  • Display excellent customer service, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Have intermediate math skills.
  • Demonstrate basic knowledge of local, state and national financial laws and regulations.
  • Inform prospective and existing customers of our programs, rates, policies, underwriting requirements, and loan procedures.
  • Display an ability to analyze financial information.
