Job Description
DevOps Engineer Job Description You will work with software engineering to deploy and operate the web development systems. Help automate and streamline the operations and processes. Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations, and troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test and production environments. You will be supporting Web Sites, back-end processes, and integrations to partner systems. Core Responsibilities:- Create tools and release automation so that deployments are painless and require minimal intervention.
- Collaborate with developers to refine build, test, and release practices across the organization.
- Manage, document and enhance both automated and manual operational processes
- Integrate and manage services to make our internal users more productive
- Build a culture of customer satisfaction based on operational excellence, big picture understanding, continuous improvement, and proactive thinking
- Experience in using AWS is required.
- Experience with CI/CD using Jenkins is required.
- Experience with scripting (Shell, Bash, Ruby, or Python).
- Experience with an infrastructure as code using Terraform is required.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
- Understanding of source control systems (Git/GitHub)
- Experience with Azure and Azure DevOps
- Experience with PowerShell
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3+ years
