- Develop new Sub-Systems
- To manage the requirements on engineering projects, ensuring they are fully documented and traceable in line with the Requirements Management Plan
- Capture all stakeholder requirements
- Review Requirements with Subject Matter Experts
- Development of control algorithms
- Functional simulation of developed algorithms using data-replay or plant based closed-loop simulation techniques
- Development of Failure Mode & Risk Analysis work products (FMEA, FTA & FMEDA)
- Work closely with Functional Safety team to develop safety requirements
- Work closely with Cyber Security team to develop security requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in Engineering or Engineering Technology
- 4+ years of experience in the development of electronic/embedded vehicle technologies
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively and establish good working relationships across departments
- Experience of requirements management and requirements management software
- Embedded software development knowledge, including C/C
- Background with tools such as MatLab, Simulink, MS Visio, INCA calibration tool, along with software configuration management tools
- Experience with plant model, simulation and integration of HIL environments
- Experience with any stage of automotive HMI development, ADAS, powertrain/engine controls, or other similar areas
- Experience with engineering and quality design and development methodologies: (8D, FMEA, DVP&R)
- Experience in functional areas, such as Cybersecurity, Electric Vehicle Electronics, Autonomous Electronics (Radar, Lidar, Camera, Autonomous processor, etc), Functional Safety (ISO26262), Vehicle Communications and Network, AUTOSAR Software, Telematics Software, Instrument Cluster software
