RIGHT NOW.Primary Location: United States (US) - Illinois (US-IL) - Moline Function: Information TechnologyTitle: Software Engineer - 64150 Your ResponsibilitiesAs a Software Engineer for the John Deere Order Management Program Sales teams you will be responsible for collaborating with other engineers to develop and support new and existing functionality in the Order Management Sales space. Your primary responsibility will be in the area of designing and writing code in support of mobile sales applications. In addition, you will;

Work as an active member of a Sales Agile development team

Participate in discussions with the team and extended functional teams to develop technical solutions to satisfy business requirements

Participate in the analysis and design of solutions to improve quality and performance

Assist with root cause analysis and resolution of production support issues

Visa sponsorship IS available for this position. Proven Technical Skills and Experiences

Knowledge of React Native development / React / JavaScript / ES6 / HTML / HTML5 / CSS / CSS3

Knowledge of iOS and Android development (Swift or Objective-C, Java)

4 or more years designing, implementing and supporting web-based systems including native app development

Demonstrated ability to build integrated solutions across multiple IT platforms with an understanding of application development environments, database, data management and infrastructure capabilities and constraints

Experience with TDD, XP and CI

Knowledge of SbD (Security by Design practices)

Understanding of computer technology, methodology, and full life-cycle development with demonstrated ability overseeing technical implementation of software products

Strong desire to grow and learn in various leading-edge UI technologies

What Makes You Stand Out

4 or more years of experience in designing, building and deploying multi-tiered applications and networks

Experience in backend tools and technologies like Git, MongoDB, Graylog, Sonar, REST APIs, GraphQL, and CocoaPods

4 or more years expertise in rendering page designs (wireframes / visual designs) into web pages (HTML, CSS, images, JavaScript)

Experience with Apple Connect and Google Play

Cloud experience

Experience with Agile development methodology

Education (or equivalent work experience)Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent work experience in the following:

Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience in a related career field
