RIGHT NOW.Primary Location: United States (US) - Illinois (US-IL) - Moline Function: Information TechnologyTitle: Sr SW Engineer, Factory Controller Prog - 65026 Your ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Software Engineer in the Manufacturing Engineering Factory Controller Programming agile scrum team, you would lead product design and development by providing technical leadership. In addition to planning, coordinating, coding primarily in .Net/C# and Angular and testing - to deliver functionality of a complicated nature on the complete product or products it supports. This role designs significantly more complex parts of a system independently and provides coaching and mentoring to others within the technical discipline. In addition, you will;

Work as an active member of an Agile delivery team

Lead discussions with the development team, Engineering Manager, and extended functional teams to develop technical solutions to satisfy business requirements

Lead technical analysis and design of solutions to improve quality and performance

Lead root cause analysis and resolution of production support issues

Mentor junior software engineers, perform code pairing, and perform coaching during code reviews with team members

Lead efforts to "modernize" and de-couple the technology stack

Provide architectural guidance for the future direction of the product team, including cloud migration/utilization

Provide technical leadership on DevOps-related tasks, activities, and initiatives

Develop, code, configure, and test programs and systems

Collaborate with other relevant stakeholders and team members to ensure that features meet business needs

Follow industry-standard agile software design methodology for development and documentation

Leads and provide after-hours support and implementation activities as needed

Proven experience in the design, development, testing and integration of high complex software solutions in .Net development with Sprint and Restful APIs leveraging change management

Understanding of applications development environment, database, data management and infrastructure capabilities and constraints

Proven experience in an Agile/Scrum team environment

Proven deep experience leveraging DevSecOps and lean development principles such as Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery

Deep experience in cloud development with platforms like AWS or Azure

Working understanding of full-stack design patterns and designing loosely coupled architectures

Interpersonal, Leadership and Teaming Competencies

Capable of collaborating with multiple business stakeholders to provide information technology solutions

Skilled in interpersonal communications, negotiation, and conflict resolution

Proven experience as a work lead providing technical coaching and mentoring to others

Proven strong leadership skill and experience, influence effectively, ability to resolve impediments in a timely manner

Learning Agility / Innovative - desire and openness for continuous technical learning and identifying areas for application

Growth mindset - willingness to deal and thrive in uncertainty

Education (or equivalent work experience)

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology
