Embedded Software Senior Engineer (Core Information Software)DescriptionAs an Embedded Software Senior Engineer at Caterpillar, in this role you will be responsible for the design, development, configuration, and testing of embedded software for information products developed for Caterpillar machine and industrial applications; including working in close collaboration with cross-functional teams consisting of hardware engineers, internal and external software vendors, and systems engineers to produce high quality software.QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
Masters Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
2 years concurrent embedded systems and software development experience in machine or industrial applications using C, C
1 year of software development experience with Linux OS
In lieu of the above, would accept:
Bachelors Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
5 years embedded software development experience including 2 years (concurrent) experience in machine or industrial embedded software development using C, C
1 year of software development experience with Linux OS
