Job Description
As a Key Account Manager, you will develop and implement sales strategies to maintain existing revenue and generate profitable growth within assigned National Accounts. You will do so by executing line reviews, promotions and campaigns with the goal of gaining new product listings, to achieve defined sales targets.You will serve as the liaison between field sales, agencies, corporate and national account team to optimize the deployment of resources to achieve national account goals. You will have sole responsibility for your designated national account and corporate relationship.
You will analyze customer-specific metrics and market trends to accurately forecast monthly product demand and financial revenue (orders) for assigned customers.
You will analyze the market trends and competitive environment to build overall customer strategy.
Qualifications
You have a minimum of 5+ years experience in Sales, Channel Management, or Marketing. Previous national account experience in catalogue or e-commerce is highly desired.
An undergraduate degree is required; a Masters or MBA is preferred. You bring a positive, 'Get it Done' attitude that fosters collaboration and team-work.
As a successful KAM, you have strong communication skills across all levels of the organization, with the ability to influence and drive new ideas and partnerships.
You hold excellent customer presentation skills, working closely with both internal and external customers.
This position requires some travel, typically approximately 30% of the time, with more or less based on providing the best customer experience.
